iPad (A16), iPad Air (M3), Mac Studio (2025), MacBook Air (M4, 2025) and Magic Keyboard for iPad Air

The eleventh-generation iPad (marketed as the iPad (A16)) is a tablet computer developed and marketed by Apple as the successor of the tenth-generation iPad. It was announced on March 4, 2025, and was released on March 12, 2025.

Similar to its predecessor, the eleventh-generation iPad retains the same dimensions, Touch ID sensor and design. Improvements include the faster A16 chip, a slight improvement to the camera and Bluetooth 5.3. Like the tenth-generation iPad, this iPad supports the Apple Pencil (USB-C) and Apple Pencil (1st generation), as well as supporting Apple's Magic Keyboard Folio keyboard cover accessory.

The seventh-generation iPad Air (commonly known as the iPad Air 7 or iPad Air (M3)) is a series of tablet computers developed and marketed by Apple Inc. It was announced on March 4, 2025, and released on March 12, 2025. The device succeeds the iPad Air (6th generation) and introduces several hardware, performance, and accessory improvements while maintaining the same starting price as its predecessor.

Apple Inc. has designed and developed many external keyboard models for use with families of Apple computers, such as the Apple II, Mac, and iPad. The Magic Keyboard and Magic Keyboard with Numeric Keypad are designed to be used via either Bluetooth and USB connectivity, and have integrated rechargeable batteries; The Smart Keyboard and Magic Keyboard accessories for iPads are designed to be directly attached to and powered by a host iPad. All current Apple keyboards utilize low-profile key designs, and common modifier keys.

As of 2015 the butterfly keyboard design was implemented with a complex polymer. In 2018 the MacBook keyboard was redesigned to contain a silicone membrane interior and keys made of nylon. In 2019 the scissor mechanism design was adopted to replace the butterfly design.
